About
In our documentary Liz & Nancy, we present an unflinching and intimate portrait of what it means to care for parents in the final stages of life. Told through the lens of a daughter tending to her mother with Alzheimer’s while simultaneously caring for her mother-in-law who suffers from vascular dementia, the film explores the emotional, physical, and psychological toll of caregiving, an experience millions silently endure.
This story is deeply personal, but profoundly universal. As Liz navigates the shifting landscape between roles—child, caregiver, advocate—we witness the heartbreak of watching loved ones disappear, and the courage required to keep going.
More than a story about illness, Liz & Nancy is a reflection on love, identity, and the strength it takes to show up every day. With your support, we can bring visibility to caregivers everywhere, spark critical conversations around elder care, dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease, by creating a film that not only moves audiences, but also serves as a tool for advocacy, education, change and hope.
